We would like to respectfully clarify that the recently launched socioeconomic profiling program in Sulu, facilitated by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), is specifically intended for members of the MNLF under the Executive Council of 15, led by their Chairman, Muslimin Sema.
The Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) under the leadership of its Founding Leader and Chairman of the Central Committee, Prof. Dr. Nur Misuari, remains committed to the full and faithful implementation of the 1996 Final Peace Agreement (FPA) with the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Our track toward peace and transformation is guided by the FPA and its socio-economic provisions, which are currently being pursued through the MNLF-GPH Peace Implementing Committee, with the active engagement of relevant government agencies and international partners.
Let us remain united in advancing the welfare of all MNLF members and the broader Bangsamoro communities through the relevant mechanisms laid out in signed peace agreements.
